Rabbi Aryeh Nivin's Personal Development Chaburas - Based on Thought Module

Rabbi Aryeh Nivin's Personal development chaburas use Jewish wisdom from chazal to help us develop ourselves within our Gdly image, the aspect of the Divine within.

The material is life-changing.  Anyone who participates learns the textual basis for the personal development as well as the application throughout the year, as the seasons and months change.

Here is a sample of how his thought module can help a person (in parentheses are what I have integrated from other modules into the thought chain).

What is the name of the feeling you feel when negative?

Did it disempower you?

Since you are feeling disempowering negative feelings the thought can't be true

What is the thought behind the negative feeling?

Is there a commentary on the thought? (for example is it something from the past, are you living in the past or future?  Jot down the pattern)

What is it that is not true?  Somewhere in the thought or commentary is a line that causes the distress. Take a snapshot and look at the commentary

(for example, is there confusion regarding where your self-esteem comes from  such as from ego instead of from relationship with Hashem?

What is the old tape and messages that are playing?

What is your very first memory of it?

Is there something there that has corrupted your primal will - see that module
and now create a behira point by choosing which item from your yeud or which of the 6 constant mitzahs or which of Hashem's attributes you canbring  Hashem's malchus into your relationship with the event?)
