Below is a list of websites of highly respected Rebbeim and Rebbetzins and professionals  involved with  Torah based workshops designed to help a person grow spiritually through daily exercises .    Those with an * are workshops/classes/books that I have studied and whose wisdom has helped me.  I offer this list because those seeking an internal path toward closeness to Hashem may find, as I did, that one's journey may crystalize by discovering for oneself the "common ground" - the way to draw closer to Hashem - after hearing and experiencing for oneself the lessons taught by the instructors on topics such as emunah, Toras Emes, personal relationship with Hashem, brain physiology, middos, overcoming the yetzer hara and more.  My opinion has developed that the world we live in looks physical and feels physical, but it is a spiritual ecosystem. There is an infinite path of closeness to Hashem - we have to find the path first. And it is doable!  In our day and age, there are people coming closer to Hashem, guiding others to find and strengthen the goodness within themselves that is an aspect of His Image and thereby draw closer and bring light, using Daas Torah.  Very important and urgent to understand the world we are in and our purpose in the world.

    Dear Shuli,
When I first came to your blog on the recommendation of a friend, I felt angry and despondent. The presence of names such as Rabbi Rietti and Rebbitzen Heller, and columns about Daas Torah told me right away that I'd be encountering things that I never heard of when I was growing up. (I'm 56)
Where does someone who adheres to halacha, asks shailas regularly, follows "Minhag America", davens 3 times a day, yet still owns a t.v. and computer belong in today's rapidly changing "Frum Velt?"

Thanks for writing!  I am not sure if you are a man or a woman from what you say, but I think Rabbi
Aryeh Nivin's classes might be just on target. Rabbi Nivin speaks and teaches from and to the heart and is able to convey deep ideas so that they are absorbed into our lives.
